The Beatles First U.S. Visit Quotes

When The Beatles first arrived in America, they were greeted by over 10, 000 screaming fans. A doctumentary was made to show their first trip to the U.S., and here are a few quotes from it:

Paul answering reporter: "I'm Paul. Don't tell anyone, please."

Reporter and George: "How about a hair cut? I had one yesterday."

Paul: (puts radio to classical station) "Sounds like Breakfast at Tiffany's (dances with Ringo) ."

George to Paul: "La - ouder!!!" (Louder)

George and John: "Do you have a cig-a-rette for me please? (John gives George a cigarette) It's a big cigarette... for a big man."

- George is a very believable service person when he dresses up on the train.

- The cutest scene is without a doubt when Ringo combs his hair down ever so nicely and then jumps around and shakes his head.

- Has anyone noticed that when they are performing on The Ed Sullivan Show and singing 'This Boy', John makes a little noise? It's like a high pitched 'doo, doo, doo' and him and Paul laugh. And then on one of their other appearances, Ringo says something while they're playing. It looks to me like he was saying 'Good Morning'. (You only see his lips moving.)
